Vision & Mission

Major achievements of recent years (3 years):

Various activities were implemented in the last three years of the Bangladesh Shishu Academy, Dinajpur District under the Child Development Program. Through these activities, about 63,000 children benefit from participation. Every year 13 sub-district stages are started from the National Children's Prize and the fourth season of seasonal competition is organized. More than 20,500 children take part in this competition every year. About 800 children were trained in 4 subjects, including music, dance, painting and recitation. About 660 children get access to books in the library every year and about 460 children participate in library based competition. A monthly child magazine and book for children received from the Central Office is regularly sold. Integrated Child Care and Development Policy 2013 has been approved. A total of 18 poorly disadvantaged children are educated through Bangladesh Shishu Academy, Dinajpur District Branch, 1 child development center and 1 pre-primary school. Apart from this, celebrating childhood film exhibition, child drama, cultural festival, birthday celebration of prominent personalities.

Problems and challenges:

To include children as a citizen of the future and preventing violence against children, including all children.

Future plan:

To prevent violence against children and to involve all the deprived children of the country in the social security program. In order to ensure the rights of all children in the light of the National Child Development Policy 2011, the implementation of various action plans will be taken to create the future of the country's future eligible citizens.

 

Possible achievements of the year 2017-2018:

• 45 childish books are exhibited and sold.

• Provide 250 training to children on various subjects.

• Library Automation, according to the instructions of the central office.

• Facilitating 60 poor children through child development and pre-primary school.

• 25,000 children's thinking, intellectual and cultural development.
